47- Creation

Okay. So, this took me a little while to do, but I finally got the motivation to finish it up tonight. And, of course, I haven't posted anything new up here as of late. I'll also be posting up a dragon pic...probably tomorrow, but anywhom! This took a few hours (not sure...I don't count). The sun looks ok...I guess, even if it's not the best, but I tried! Now, the moon and lil stars look better in contrast with that. I kinda cheated on the cloud, taking the simple way out (cloud tool!). Ah, then there's the hand. Of course, this whole picture started off as a sketch in my sketchbook, and I was modelling off of my own hand. It was hard to keep it steady while I drew it out, and it was kinda awkward after a while as people in my art class would stop and stare for a second.

I hated doing the fire, which is why it's so shitty. I tried to make the lightning look good, and I think it looks ok. The water and swirls...eh, they're slightly suspect, but they're good 'nuff. Then we get to the tree. I did the stem all on my own, but I didn't have any adequate leaf tools so I looked some brushes up on here and found some.

other than that, everything is done by me. The thing I've gotta say I like the best would have to be the moon, but hey. I wouldn't mind some critiques and comments, if anybody cares to give me anything to improve this kind of art style thingy.
